Iwona Bielecka

Director and photographer. 

Her adventure with advertising world dates back to 2007, when she started working as a Photographer. She has worked on many fashion and beauty photoshoots. Her photographs were published in Polish and foreign magazines, as album covers and campaigns for fashion brands. With her series of photographs titled “The Heart of Seoul” she won Imagine Cup competition in the photography category, back in 2007. Iwona has also been a finalist in many international competitions in various fields including graphic design.
As a director she started working on music videos and shorts and then came commercials! 

Selected as the New Director of the Year 2016 at Shots Awards. Received Grand Prix in the Papaya Young Directors 2016 competition for o2 commercial. She beat over 1000 entries. She has authored screenplays and directed music videos for many Polish artists including Sorry Boys, Julia Marcell, Pezet, Goya, Maria Sadowska, Natalia Przybysz and foreign Seventh Stranger, Arcane Station, Froggg. The first music video she directed was for Julia Marcell in 2011. It was nominated for Video of the Year for the Fryderyki Awards 2012. 

Her short film “Silence” for the 48 Hour Film Project Wroclaw Contest (June 2016) starring famous polish actress Ewa Kasprzyk received 3 awards: Best Directing, Best Cinematography and Best Music. She also directed the short film “And What Do You See Here?” in September 2013 for the 48 Hour Film Project Warsaw Contest, and the film was awarded Best Actor and Best Use of Prop. 

She is appreciated for her uncompromising nature, attention to details, sensitive and natural presentation of her characters. Her work was recognized at the KTR Awards, where she received an award for directing the film "Origin". Then the social campaign "Wheelchair hour" was awarded the bronze Cannes Lions 2017 award. 

She has worked in Poland and abroad, for such clients as: Dove, Sprite, Visa, Head&Shoulders, Aviva, Optibet, Biotebal, Ronald McDonald House, MaxiKrzem, Dorminox, Polident Pro Partial, Solaris.

She’s multi-talented. Apart from being a director and photographer, she’s also a product designer! Her artistic nature and aesthetic sense allowed her to successfully create her own premium kids furniture brand - HINGI!
