Young and very promising cinematographer, open for commercial and film offers both in Poland and abroad. Graduate of Katowice Film School. Participated in Berlinale Talents 2014 Masterclass.
His graduation film „Magma” directed by Paweł Maślona has been awarded in several film festivals all over the world from Palm Springs, Cambridge, Prague to Poland. The film won main prize at Gdynia Film Festival and Cezary was nominated for the Golden Tadpole at Camerimage Festival for best cinematography.
Another short „Shame” won KODAK VISION PRIZE for best cinematography. „Home Sweet Home” - a short film directed by Agata Puszcz - has been awarded at the Küstendorf International Film and Music Festival for best cinematography. The award was announced by Michel Amathieu: I was impressed by the strong direction and very precise lighting that is very esthetical and it pictures well what director wants to say.
His first full-lengt film „Pannic Attack” (2017) directed by Paweł Maślona was acclaimed by critics as one of the best movies of decade and was honoured with numerous awards. The film premiered in the main competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
Cinematographer to both parts of horror feature film „Nobody Sleeps the Woods Tonight” directed by Bartosz M. Kowalski and to „All my friends are dead” by Jan Belcl. His last work is TV mini-series (3 ep.) „Planeta Singli. Osiem historii”, which shows eight different portraits of the contemporary world of love ups and downs.
