Radosław Ładczuk

Born in 1976. Graduate of Cinematography Faculty of Lodz Film School, Radek has been working in many feature, documentary as well as commercial projects. Recognised for his visual style, he was nominated for many Polish and international awards. Awarded Golden Duck of Film magazine for “Suicide Room” film, Best Cinematography Award for “Princess” in Jerusalem Film Festival and many more.  He is the author of cinematography for the film “The Babadook” acclaimed as one of the best horror films of XXI century. His recent internationals movie productions are Turkish drama “In Flame” | “Kaygi” and “My Days of Mercy” with Ellen Paige as the lead. Feature film “The Nightingale” directed by Jennifer Kent was awarded with Special Jury Prize in Competition of the 75th International Venice Film Festival.
In 2019 Radek met with director Jan Komasa again on the set to make a sequel "Suicide Room: The Hater". Shortly after the premiere film got awarded at Tribeca Film Festival for the Best International Narrative Feature.

Radek's latest projects are feature film "Nocebo" directed by Lorcan Finnegan starring Eva Green, "My Neighbour Adolf" directed by Leon Prudovsky and Guillermo del Toro's "Cabinet of Curiosities" - episode "Murmuring" directed by Jennifer Kent.  "Chłopi" | "The Peasants" directed by DK Welchan & Hugh Welchman with Radek's cinematography (along with Kamil Polak and Szymon Kuriata) was awarded the Audience Award and the Special Jury Award at the Gdynia Film Festival. The movie is produced in unique painting technique. The story is based upon the Nobel Prize winning novel by Wladyslaw Reymont. Feature film "Enea" directed by Pietro Castellitto,with Radek's cinematography was in Competition of 80th Venezia Film Festival and during its premiere at Venice, the film received a standing ovation of eight minutes.

“The Surfer” directed by Lorcan Finnegan with Radek's cinematography, starring Nicolas Cage is competing in the Midnight Screenings at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
