Jan Komar

Polish music composer for film, commercials, and theater, based in Warsaw. Music producer and owner of a recording studio. Member of ZAIKS.
He studied at the Department of Sociology at Collegium Civitas. In 2019, he was nominated for the best original music Award for The Mire (Polish TV series directed by Jan Holoubek) at the Film Music Festival in Krakow.
Music composer for such films as "Panie Dulskie" (dir. Filip Bajon), "Snow White and Russian Red", "Chaos" (dir. Xawery Żuławski), "Apokawixa" (dir. Xawery Żuławski), "Doppelgänger. Sobowtór" (dir. Jan Holoubek) and TV series "The Mire" (dir. Jan Holoubek), "High Water" (dir. Jan Holoubek, Bartłomiej Ignaciuk), His recent project is TV series "Rojst 3. Millenium" (dir. Jan Holoubek) which premiered worldwide on Netflix in 2024. Currently Jan works on feature film "Kulej", whose protagonist is one of the most outstanding fighters in the history of Polish boxing, Jerzy Kulej.
